RO OPERATOR

Job Description

• Operate and monitor the Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant and associated water treatment equipment as per standard operating procedures. • Monitor RO plant parameters such as feed pressure, operating pressure, flow rate, permeate flow, reject flow, conductivity/TDS, pH, and water quality. • Ensure continuous availability of treated water for production, utilities, boiler, and other plant requirements. • Conduct routine inspection of RO membranes, cartridge filters, pressure vessels, pumps, dosing systems, valves, pipelines, and related equipment. • Monitor and maintain proper chemical dosing for antiscalant, SMBS, acid/alkali, and other treatment chemicals, as applicable. • Carry out regular backwashing, flushing, cleaning, and membrane maintenance as per operating procedures. • Maintain daily RO plant logbooks, production records, water quality records, chemical consumption records, and equipment inspection reports. Preferred Profile • ITI qualification in Electrical, Fitter, Instrumentation, or relevant technical trade. • 2–5 years of experience in RO plant operation, water treatment plant operation, utilities, or a similar industrial environment. • Practical knowledge of RO systems, pumps, filters, dosing systems, membranes, valves, pipelines, and basic water treatment processes. • Basic understanding of TDS, conductivity, pH, pressure, flow, water recovery, and water quality parameters. • Willingness to work in shift operations as required.

Ltd., a leading edible oil manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced ITI RO Operator with 2–5 years of relevant experience in operating and maintaining Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment systems, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. The candidate will be responsible for smooth and efficient operation of the RO plant, monitoring water quality, maintaining operating parameters, carrying out routine checks, and ensuring safe and uninterrupted water treatment operations.
